Sean graduated from NUI Galway in 1989 with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Honours) and immediately continued his studies by completing an L.L.B. Degree (Honours) in 1991. Thereafter further professional studies ensued in the Law Society of Ireland resulting in his admission to the Role of Solicitors in 1996.


Sean has worked extensively since 1996 in all areas of legal practice and particularly in Litigation. Sean exclusively works in the firm’s Litigation Department and deals with all aspects of dispute resolution through the Courts, tribunals and mediation. Sean has extensive experience in Personal Injury Law, Breach of Contract, Equity and Commercial Litigation.

Since 1996 Sean has also represented clients from all walks of life in the Criminal Courts and is to be found practicing in the District Court, Circuit Criminal Court and Central Criminal Court.  Sean is a competent and well regarded practitioner in this area with a level of experience drawn from daily attendances at the Courts over 18 years.


Sean can provide specialist advice and assistance with all matters relating to the Courts and in particular:


 Advising clients regarding procedures in the District, Circuit and High Court
 Preparation of defence for charges preferred against clients in the District Court initially, and
thereafter in the Circuit Criminal or Central Criminal Courts when the need arises.
 Advocacy and competent representation in the Courts when defending an accused person.
 Advice and assistance is resolving any litigation whether Civil or Commercial matters.
 Advising clients or their families when a person is arrested and detained by the Gardai for
questioning under the many Statutes that allow the Gardai to detain a suspected person.
 Attendance at Criminal Courts for the purpose of remand hearings and Bail applications
when these Courts are scheduled to sit at any time of the day or night.


In addition Sean has represented those clients over the past 18 years who may not have the financial capacity to employ a Solicitor but nevertheless required representation at the highest level. Sean has represented people “pro bono” for many years and will continue to do so.
