Pat Sheehan studied Law at NUI Galway where he obtained Honours BA and LLB Degrees. He was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in 1989 and since then worked with one of Galway’s leading law firms becoming a partner in 1994.

Pat established his own practice in 2009 offering clients expert legal advice in private client and commercial matters

Pat has extensive experience in a wide spectrum of practice areas including Commercial Conveyancing, Banking and Private Client. He has acted in a number of high profile Commercial Litigation matters.

Pat also has extensive experience in Litigation matters, Employment Law and has advised national and international companies across many different business sectors. He has appeared before the Commercial Court in a number of high profile cases and is a keen advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Pat has recently completed Diploma’s in Corporate Insolvency and Recovery and also Personal Insolvency

For some years Pat lectured with the Institute of Taxation. He has also lectured at a number of third level institutions on a variety of legal issues.
